As one of the most welcoming caravan parks in the region, we welcome young children, families and your furry friends at our dog-friendly park. We have friendly, knowledgeable staff on hand to assist you.

Located just over 1 mile from Oulton Park Motor Racing Circuit and the picturesque village of Little Budworth, Elm Cottage is one of the top holiday parks in the region. Just 12 miles from Chester, a perfect base for visiting the varied tourist attractions.

Looking for a swimming pool? You can find open water swimming, paddle boarding and more at Wild Shore Delamere—only 10 minutes away.

There are 3 superb pubs in walking distance from the park, and several more just a short drive away. Enjoy beautiful walks and cycle rides direct from the site.

Elm Cottage Is Open All Year

We are open all year around on the hard standing, fully serviced caravan pitches, and we also offer seasonal pitches for those looking to stay longer. The grass camping pitches are open from Easter through to September. Organised rallies are welcome. Our spacious barn is available for hire to guests, catering can also be arranged.

Our pizza oven is open most Friday evenings during peak season– yum yum!

Onsite Pizza Oven

On Friday evenings during the busier spring/summer times of year, our self built wood fired pizza oven is in operation. Come and sample wonderful thin crust pizzas, made fresh to order with a choice of wonderful toppings.

Don’t forget to try the amazing cheesy garlic bread too!

Pre-reserving a time slot is essential due to high demand.

Really great site this, toilet/shower block is probably cleanest one I have ever seen. Some great facilities on site, impromptu crepes available for breakfast and park for the kids to play on. Had a great weekend away and will be back again.

Had a really great weekend with our friends and my son. Ticked a box as it’s only 40 minutes away. Really friendly staff, clean facilities, a lovely dog walk through beautiful woods to get great food in a local pub the Red Lion. Will be going back soon!

Our 1st time at Elm Cottage and we are already looking at booking again. A lovely site, very clean and well kept. Showers and toilets are one of the cleanest I’ve been to. The staff are constantly cleaning and emptying bins. Great dog walking area. Pizza night Friday was a lovely social event, people enjoying their drinks while waiting for their freshly prepared pizzas. Lovely dog friendly pub within 5 min walk. Only a 40 min drive away for us so overall perfect!!

Very well located site, excellently maintained grounds and facilities and very welcoming and helpful people.

Good dog run and a selection of pubs reasonably close.

A little noise from the main road, but you soon get used to it and noise from planes from both Manchester and Liverpool airports, but not so bad as to detract from the site. In fact very interesting watching planes coming and going. No plane noise during the night.

The best camp site ever! We surprised the kids and went with friends for a weekend after their first week back at school. The pitches were immaculate and the shower blocks are so clean and hot and the staff were so friendly! We were taken to our pitch and all other campers were respectful to one another. The pizzas smelt amazing – sadly didn’t order in time this time round but definitely will be ordering next time! The kids are begging me to book again and they needn’t tell me twice as I will book again for next year soon as dates become available! Thank you so much again to all the staff! X

Can’t wait to come back! Absolutely loved our stay here, everything about it was brilliant!

Location is fantastic, lots of things to do very close by and as it’s right off a main road, there’s no need to navigate the smaller country lanes with the caravan. As close as it is to the road though, we didn’t hear any traffic noise.

Super easy to pitch – drive into the space and pull away out of it – no reversing or manoeuvring needed and very spacious pitches 🙂 Facilities and grounds were always spotless, the staff were super friendly and helpful and other guests were super friendly too!

Can’t praise this site enough and can’t wait to come back!

Extremely clean, tidy and quiet site. Lovely touches such as the herb garden visitors can use and lots of dog water bowls. Would definitely recommend.
